AGM
The venue will be the Shed Café at the Akuna Bay marina with the AGM starting at 12 pm sharp! At the conclusion of the meeting enjoy a 3 course lunch, including drinks package, for the subsidised cost for members of $80pp.
Cruising the East Coast
Akuna Bay MarinaHear from your fellow Member, former Commodore Bob Taylor, about his experiences cruising our magnificent coastline. Bob has made several journeys to North Queensland and loves to enjoy the beautiful Whitsunday islands and other destinations with family and friends. Bring your own drinks and snacks to the Akuna Bay Customer Lounge.
Club Raft Up
Kick off the October long weekend by joining the Club Raft Up on Saturday October 5 (after the info night at the marina). Meet at the top of Smiths Creek from midday Saturday. Stay for the long weekend or head off on Sunday for other adventures!
Season Opener BBQ – Saturday 19 October
Join us for our 2024/25 Season Opening BBQ event! This will be quite an informal event at Akuna Bay marina starting at 4 pm. We will set up a BBQ in the outside dining area of The Shed at Akuna Bay.

Christmas Lunch – 23 November
The ABCC Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, November 23 with lunch in The Shed Café at Akuna Bay from 12.30 pm. Again we will enjoy a delicious shared platter 3 course lunch accompanied by a 3 hour premium drinks package. Cost is $135 per person. Book now!

Australia Day at Refuge Beach
Australia Day 2025 falls on Sunday January 26 so we’ll celebrate the event on Australia Day while enjoying our Long Weekend. Brooklyn Seafood Lunch – 15 February
Meet in Refuge/America Bays and travel together for Brooklyn for a seafood lunch at Lifeboat Seafood. A great way to enjoy Summer boating with fellow ABCC members. RSVPs open in 2025
